Feel just like at home and enjoy the simple elegance and solace of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage on the south end of St. Simons Island. It is located within walking distance from the beach (half mile), pier area (.9 mile) and lighthouse (.7 mile). Built in 1932, Old Blue is a delightful beach cottage my husband and I bought and restored ourselves back in 2003. It is 1300 square feet of genuine St. Simons Island. We love the simplicity of the house itself with its unique and original wood floors and beach feel but also the charm that surrounds the home. When you step out on the front patio and smell the ocean or sit out back under the live oak tree, you’ll know exactly what I’m discussing. Local people refer to it as being on “Island Time”.
